Sexual and reproductive health is an important aspect of a person’s wellbeing. One of many factors of all people’s sexual health: STI/STDs! Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are, as their names suggest, bacteria, viruses, fungi etc. that can be contracted when engaging in unprotected sexual activity. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) more than 1 million STIs are acquired every day. BUT there are proactive and retroactive steps you can take to prevent and treat STIs/STDs and remain sexually active and healthy! Check out a few resources below:
